These are the end credits from the episode "Space Wolf". (Sorry, but the big finish ending is cut off!)

The classic cartoon from 1967-1969. A Trillium / Krantz production. Based on the legend of Robin Hood, only the characters are descendants of the Merry Men, living on an asteroid in space around the year 3000.

  • Can comebody put it the lyrics of this song? please!

  • Part 1

    Band of brothers marching together,

heads held high in all kinds of weather.

With fiery blasts our roaring rockets rise

beyond the Earth, beyond the skies.

At the side of Robin take your stand

with the gallant leader of our band.

Send a joyous shout throughout the land

    for Rocket Robin Hood.

  • Part 2 Band of brothers shoulder to shoulder None dare defy us, none were any bolder. Sound the horn in every astral plain to rally round our merry men. We stand with Robin to the end. The joys of freedom, to defend. Here's the place to be, on the side of the free. With Rocket Robin Hood! (No source)

  • 00:55 Kranz Films has one of the strangest logos I've ever seen.

  • Was this the inspiration for Monty Python's 'Spam Song'?

  • @RocketRobinHood I ran across the box set in the store about two weeks ago, I hope that they cleaned up and restored the audio and video. When I saw that it was marked, "Volume #1", I had no idea that they had enough material for a "Volume #2".

  • @RocketRobinHood - I think instead of "...astral plain" the line is actually "astral glen" (or "astro-glen"). This provides a proper rhyme with "merry men" and would tie in with the original story Robin Hood operating in the wooded glens of Sherwood Forest.

  • I've always loved the theme music for this show, but it's never a good sign for an animated show when the animators are outnumbered by the voice actors. lol

  • DVD Volume #1 is coming out November 24th, 2009. (2 versions - one English and one French.)

  • Really? Thanks for the info. BTW, the French title for "RRH" is "Robin Fusée".

  • Sadly-this isn't true. The Teletoon Retro prints are horrible. There is only ONE episode that has properly been mastered, using the original audio tape-and can you hear the difference. There were also plans for the series to come out on DVD, but distributers were changed, and supposidly there was a hold up trying to find french soundtracks for all the episodes(they want it in both languages for Canada-being a Canadian made series).

  • this reminds me of cybersix. Cuz every night i would watch Cybersix right after this and i would always catch these ending credits. God i miss good shows.

  • Yo recuerdo que aqui en Mexico la pasaban alla por los años 80's cuando yo era un niño y tambien recuerdo que la traduccion aqui en Mexico de esta serie animada fue "Meteoro Robin Hood"
