"You said wanted to know how to buy the DVD of Splinter flick. I am posting the reply I sent U as a comment here, too- becuz, maybe someday, some other gente' out there might wanna know 2.
Here's THREE ways which I would try if I wanted to get this flick on a disc:
1. Send an email to: splinter@chambersix.com and ask how 2 buy it. That email addy. Is from the Official Splinter website: http://www.thesplintermovie.com/
2. Download each piece of the movie that I put-up, then convert them to a regular video format (like .avi, .mpg, etc) and put 'em in order. Then burn 'em onto a DVD with a program like Nero. Because I'm cool like that, I'm gonna tell ya where to get the programs ya need to do what I just told ya to do for free. Go to http://www.koyotesoft.com/indexEn.html and download the "Free FLV Convertor" and also the "Free Videos to DVD" programs. Install them both. Then copy the web address of any video that you see playing on youtube, paste it into the "add link" bar in the "tube downloader" section of the FLV convertor, click "add" and the program downloads and converts the video for you. When your ready to make your DVD, just follow the instructions for the Video to DVD program.
3. BEST WAY. Search for and download a free program called "utorrent". Install it. Then open web browser and goto a "torrent site" (I like www.piratebay.org, or www.mininova.com ) search for "Splinter" and you will probably find a few dvd rips available. Click download and you will probably download a small file that will automatically open up the utorrent program. Tell utorrent to download and it will download the entire flick for you, but it can take awhile (sometimes as much as 2-3 days.). TRUCHA ESE! Downloading movies and music and programs with torrent sites can be more addicting than smoking crack! Next thing ya know you got at least a500 gig hard drive and are getting low on free space. ESPECIALLY stay away from those pornos homie! I'm telling ya, you start to download them Daisy Marie flicks then Jasmine Byrne, then...shit ya need another fuckin' bigger hard drive again.
