  • i had a pet raven my mother found, he fell from a nest and we took him in and fed him until he grew up. I have never seen more intelligent bird in my life, he was like a sponge picking up tricks, and he would always observe what people were doing around him and he would go and imitate. Extremely intelligent bird. When he grew up we changed our house and brought him with us, he lived in our backyard flyaing away at will and returning. One day he found a mate and flew off and never returned.

  • @nitroexpress700 those weren't raven's they were blue jays that ravens painted black to give you a false sense of security. While replying to me, ravens have stolen your identity and are currently ruining your credit score.

  • @ShadowDingo ...at home the best place for them is next to their parents. but if they are really alone you´re doing a great job taking car for such a great bird. :)

  • @Ouija121085 who ever finds a young crow should carefully watch from distance for a long time if the parents don´t feed any more. crows are precocial, they leave their nests long before they can take care for themselves. but their parents follow and feed and protect them. often people feel sorry for the little guys and take them home, even if their parents are taking care of them. just take your time, else you could destroy a crow family. and as cool it might be to have them...

  • Ravens: the trolls of nature.

  • @JesusLaughs yes, because it's so impossible for somebody to have a pet bird. are you fucking retarded bro?

  • @JesusLaughs and when i say to people that he actually recognised my mom after being away in wild for 4 monhts and then saw her from a tree or air god knows and then intentionally landed on her shoulder she cried for days after that, she couldn't belive it. People look at me and say, you are crazy... but its true all people have this god given connection to animals we just lost it over time.

  • @JesusLaughs We would see him for some week after that he would land and we would bring him cheese his favorite treat. Ravens love cheese. And then one day another bird landed with him and approached us, but he wouldn't allow her to come close for some reason, he would snap at her i guess he was saying "these people are mine not yours" we would see them both in trees next to each other guessing they were mates. Later he flew off as they migrate around and never saw him again.

  • @JesusLaughs it may be impossible for you to understand but this is exacly what happned. Initially we thought that he flew into neighbours back yard and that dog got him, since our neighbour had a dog. We already mourned for him and about 3-4 monts later my mother was walking home to our house from a local deli and he flew off and landed on her shoulder after some 4 months.
