Very Happy Today April 7 2010.
Lastly a due of more than 30 years was filled. But very very upset with this too late decision.
Govt of India is like sleeping until Honouring Ilayaraja Sir - " Bharat Ratna " in years to come along with previously awarded people to put him in list below :
1) M S Subbulakshmi
2) Lata Mangeshkar
3) Bismillah Khan
4) Bhimsen Joshi
Truely this Indian film composer,singer,lyricist & First Asian to score a Symphony with unimaginable 900 Films & 5000 Songs - Deserve it

Arrogant or not Raja is a natural talent mostly self thought. The way he understands music, makes him look like arrogant. He was playing second fiddle to his elder brother in village performance and CPIM political meetings during his younger days to earn a pittance. With such humble background he is indeed a gifted musician along side Mozart and Thyagaraja. The new genre synthetic phony music makes you sick and tired after a while.
