Highlights of Chase's rookie season 09-10 with the Houston Rockets
In 2009, he was drafted by Detroit Pistons, and then traded to Houston Rockets on draft night. He joined the Rockets' Summer League team, and averaged 17.8 PPG. In the 2009 season opener for the Rockets, Budinger came off the bench and logged 15 minutes of play time while scoring 6 points and collecting 1 rebound. On March 30, 2010, Budinger scored a career-high 24 points in a 98-94 home win against the Washington Wizards. He matched this total on April 2, 2010, in a 119-114 road win at the Boston Celtics

@GooseGusty He used to play volleyball in high school, he was the number one prospect in the nation. I saw him play his last high school volleyball game, he was nuts. He capped his career off with 20 kills and what the San Diego Section CIF title for La Costa Canyon.
