Just like a dog, wow! ^_^
Which reminds me: Exactly HOW did you get a Capybara?
-
Next time someone rolls down the window and asks what he is, tell them he's a giant mutant azz-kicking Guinea Pig to rival the G Force piggies. Watch them peel rubber and not look back. :)

he is smelling the material ofthe car and saying to himself "humm the car smells like my skin I wonder why"? lol it was just a joke
-
alright then, i'm "one of" his bigger fans.
-
Until last week I would have rolled my window down and asked what it was too lol. I had no idea these things existed. There awesome though.

No..you are not...trust me... we literally say caplin 200 times a day.

I'm Caplin's biggest fan! If I have a ton of money one day and live in a state where it's legal to own one I'm gettin one!!!

Caplin is one cool dude. I wonder how he'd like snow?
Caplin looks like he's really digging it. What kind of car is that?

He loves going for rides. The car is a Toyota Prius.

how do you tell the difference between annoyed and nervous chirps vs. happy ones? for example caplin vs. carol at the pool

The happy sounds are normally lower pitched. When he's really upset he can squeak pretty loudly. In the pool video, Caplin clicked and huffed, which are both bad. But when she rubbed his nose, he was happy. So the more high tones his chirps have in them, generally the more upset or nervous he is. But it can also just mean he's excited. Capybara language is very complex. Oh, and he has a cute little bark when he's excited.

Adorable! Was he nibbling on something in the car?

No, he was trying to stick his nose out the window. I don't let him do that because I'm afraid he'll jump. He likes the feel of the moving air.
