Orthodox Christianity has been established throughout much of the world for over 1,000 years... it just so happens that most of these areas are "East" of Rome.

Rome has been a towering wall between Western Europe and the Orthodox Church for a millennium... keeping the "modern" world unaware of the True Church of Jesus Christ.

Roman Catholic and Protestant missionaries in Russia should be there to learn from Orthodox Christians.

Rome broke out of communion with the one Orthodox Church of Jesus Christ 1,000 years ago when the bishop of Rome (the Pope) tried to assert he was the single head of the Church. This was rejected as utter nonsense, for in the Church of Christ there has always been a COMMUNITY of leadership: all bishops have equal authority... it is the COMMUNAL voice of the Church that has the ultimate authority... not any man unto himself.
