Haha fronterons lmfo! do ya mean leading edge flaps? haha i like fronterons better ;)
-
this plane is a trainer.i will get it for christmas from volos hobby center!

Id say an important note is that slats do not increase lift, the lower the stall speed and allow an aircraft to fly much slower. so on takeoff the lift wont change but will allow takeoff at slower speed.

@rcplaneguy1 Slats are a good Idea if you want to fly slower, If you want to prevent tip stalling twist your wing to give it washout. if your looking at the right wingtip facing you, you want to twist it so the leading edge is pointed down.

@ProfessorK100 Slats, Krueger flaps are on the 747 707 inboard of a 737 and inboard of a 727. Dave just uses his funny names for them!

wouldn't the 'frontlerons" actually be slats or kruger flaps?
-
What I dont understand is that you say your gonna try it with flaps and fronterons down, i mean. Im no aviation expert but i do know that when commercial airliners take off on the firt noch of flaps the front part of the wings (in this case fronterons) go down for lift, so'd id have thought with this mod that youd have have them down anyway?
Anyways, great vid, ive subbed and probably watched all of the videos youve got :)

do flaperons cause nasty tip stalling? I was thinkin bout putting tem on my plane and was wondering...
Thanks if you can reply

Haha Wingalings

For the commercial why dont they just sit on the passenger side?
Shouldn't the fronterons go up for more lift?

I did think the same thing at first. Seems like that would be acting like a canard and vector the wing up. Guess the "lift/vacuum" thing overpowers all that in this case.
