Not to argue, but they can really work together (I do understand the bible and stuff) remember that 7 days is a vague measurement because it was the dawn of time so time was most likely measured differently then, so the big bang could quite easily fit into that concept. For example the first thing was light, and it was good etc. and it's thought that the big bang started with light, plus the bible wasn't written by adam and eve but it was written later (just my opinion sorry if it's offensive)
