How to make GIFs from Youtube without Photoshop (my way)

**Requested by a few of my Tumblr followers.

Okay so, the recorder I used made the sound lag a bit and also I was quiet cuz it was "late", I'm sorry.. And fyi, I no longer use this method, I use Photoshop Cs5 now.

what do you click so youtube stops like the video stop really fast ?

@yoitsemmykinz i honestly have no idea, i remember that used to happen to me. but i fixed it by taking away some pictures. it worked for me. and btw, im sorry for the late reply, i didn't see this until now

im not sure because i don't have a macbook, but i googled some programs you could use to crop photos, there's iPhoto.. you can crop stuff with that. haha, or maybe if that doesn't work you can even use sites such as Picnik. :)

i have a macbook. and i used the pages app cause thats most like paint, and i took the screen shots and cropped them... and then i saved them but it saved as like documents so the gif website like wouldnt let me add those. it only let me add the screenshots, but those weren't cropped... do you know how i can make this work? btw your video was really good and helped me a lot! xoxo
