CBR125R sound comparison - airbox snorkel

My Canadian fuel injected CBR125R with the airbox snorkel removed and stock. This is a very easy mod to do and makes your 125 sound much better.

i didn't think there was any difference between cbr125s they are all fuel injected

All the ones in Canada are FI as it is new here. In 125 has been in europe for a while and only the new ones are FI there.

Thats the dumbest idea i've ever heard. the air filter is there for a reason! Duh. To keep all the gunk out of your engine! HAHAHAHA. "some people claim extra power". Of course u'll get a tiny increase but it's not worth it. Cos you'll eventually need to rebuild your engine even thought it is a 4 stroke.

I did not remove the filter, I removed the "Airbox snorkle" which is basicly a rubber, square pipe. I would not remove the air filter.

You will hear very little difference when the bike isn't on the move as it isn't under load, when you're going it is a fair bit louder than with it in.

I'm not sure if you've listened CAREFULLY to what he did, but he simply removed the snorkel sitting on top of the airbox, not the airbox itself
