Haiti reminds me of my Honduras. I would hate to see Honduras worse than it already is. I don't know any Haitian, so I don't have the same connection to Haiti, but I know that they are equal to my family, so when a Haitian dies, it is as if my family member dies.

@TheLagamorph better live in sewer than being a Haitian spawned, slave trading nigger .

@sewagedweller you should crawl back into the sewage you crawled out of.

this is an very interesting vid. He seems to be a smart man (the haitian) which i support, considering the way they are portrayed, in humiliating ways, atleast here in the US. Hatians should be a proud people, and I hate when they're potrayed in such ways because it devalues there humanity and doesnt try to show anything besides there strive for aid etc, and recklessness. Good vid.

Thank you brother Ronald Charles for speaking the truth! And thanks to the news caster for not interrupting and actually allowing Mr. Charles to talk! Finally Haitians get to speak for themselves instead of someone else speaking for them! Thanks for the upload Real News!

Ignorance allows racism to continue! I don't care if you think its funny to display your racism to the world so blantantly but as a commentator said, you do make whites look bad and you do need to grow up and educate yourself about Haiti!
read this article, that details the history of foreign interventions (mainly French and US..) in Haiti:
indymedia. ie/ article/ 95531
You'll see that there's a very clear, longstanding pattern of trying to keep Haiti under our control for financial gain and strategic interests

took over in the 40's and ruled the country until the late 80's, strongly backed by the US all along, then a popular democratic government emerged, but Bush 1 overthrew it straight away and put the army back into power, then Clinton invaded Haiti, then later on when democracy came back, Bush 2 sent in Marines and kidnapped the president, and put the Haiti military back into power again, now Obama's rushing to send 20,000 troops to invade Haiti again...
