Andrei Markov was by far the best all around defenseman for the past 3 years. While Souray is an effective point scorer he really sucks defensively (-28 wasn't a fluke), Markov on the other hand is reliable defensively and still scores points. If you're talking solely offense, then Souray, middle ground has to go to Markov, and defensively probably Komisarek.

Si Souray aurait été sur un trio (exemple: à la place de 9-buts-3.5-millions-Samsonov) pour le temps d'égalité numérique, on aurait pu mettre un meilleur défenseur à sa place, et, on aurait pu le mettre sur la ligne bleue quand le temps des supériorités numériques serait arrivé... Comme ça, il n'aurait certainement pas fini la saison avec un +/- de -28...

True, and having only one defensive minded dman (Komisarek) is dangerous. We'll see what Markov and Hamrlik can do.
