It was really interesting for £799....
But now, after few months only, it goes to £1099 which is a complete another world IMHO.
Now for this amount of money, I'd rather go with almost two PRS SE (there's enough choices... I'd personally go first for a SE 245 and Semi-Hollow... and even add a Torero and a Fender Strat American Deluxe later :) ).
In the end, it might perhaps be a little bit less versatile for each guitar, but definitely better quality and sounds for what they really are for.

Why is it that these guitars have gone up in price by at least £200 in 6 months?

what line 6 has done was take a beautifully made guitar and shoved a Spider IV up its arse

so you did a longer series on the 59 and quick demos of the 69 and 89. They guy playing in this video said this guitar was the best he'd played at andertons. i'm curious if he liked the feel fo rhte 69 as much.

OK . . So I looked at one of the Videos on the Line6 website . .its 3 way selection, but push the button on the model selector for the other positions. Hope they keep he interesting 2 and 4 position settings that they added for the traditional 3 way models.

Great Demo!! Question . .what’s the switching on the JTV-59. If its the typical LP-type then it should be 3 way - if so, how do you get access to some of the 5 position stuff that you get on S-types and also on the previous Variaxes. Also, how noisey are the pick-up emulations? Do you get single coil sounds without the hum? That wold be another marketing oportunity for someone.
I feel I may be coming down with a fit of Gear Aquisition Syndrome (again).

hey mate, what guitar do you prefer: this one or one of your fantastic ghost fret??
Great vid series! Just to be absolutely clear - are you playing a Korean 59 or a US 59 here ...?
