The mexican standard stock pickups each have two magnets glued to the pole pieces. american strat pickups have magnetic pole pieces with no external magnets. i own a 1994 mexican strat and put a 1979 usa strat pickguard assembly......all usa pickups and switch knobs...and it sounds much better.
buy a mexican strat and put usa pickups in.trust me

Amazing, what gauge strings do you use? cuz stevies strings were fucking bridge suspenders and your tone was pretty much perfect.

@envodas ERNIE BALL 0.10 in this vídeo. I use to do plays with GHS BOOMERS 0.10 too.
