My son loves gadgets. He made this video at a time when he had decided that Dysons are better than Mieles. His opinion changes from time to time. For all those of you who seem to take vacuum cleaners very seriously thank you for the detailed guidance on what filter we are using and what we should use. Please bear in mind that my son is 8 years old and these are his own personal opinions - don't take it so seriously - no really - don't.My mum typed up that last bit and I say"dysons are beter by far".I cant wait untill my dc04 absolute comes bak from my grandmars house.

  • Guys, come on. Give this kid a break. He's 8! As much as I do think he is wrong, he is just voicing his opinion which is something that I encourage everyone to do. I have a Miele s5210 with a power brush and I can't fault it. I have a Super Clean Air filter in it and no problems

  • This looks like the Miele TT5000 vacuum and it does not have and Hepa filter, it uses and Active Air Clean Filter.

  • YOUR A TWAT

  • @sorcerer101567 lol i have a super air clean filter too

  • @nsx2200 I work for Miele USA and you are 100% correct. The filter he had in his hands looked like an Active Air Clean filter (The dark charcoal side is a dead giveaway). When he says "It says it has a Hepa.." I do not believe it actually says that it has a Hepa. It does say, however, that it will accept a Hepa filter, which is the homeowners choice as to whether or not they want to purchase this additional accessory.

Bottom line is he has a great analytical mind, but his facts are a tad off.

  • @sorcerer101567 Agreed, Aerus Electrolux is also right up there with the other good ones too.

  • I realize you are young and are basing this video on what you see, HOWEVER

Miele do state in the operating manual that different models of the canister vacuums come with one of three types of filters:

    1. Active Air Clean. (Thin Cloth Like Filter.)

    2. Active HEPA Carbon Filter (150% Cleaner Air than you breath is expelled)

    3. Active HEPA with Charcoal (Same as 2 however the Charcoal removes odors like pet smells etc.)

The model you have purchased comes with number one (1).

    MIELE ARE FANTASTIC !

  • @tlaroche38 yeah :)
