@gcbarone Bad is not the word, it is becoming almost unbearable as one more government after another erodes our civil liberties and freedom rights. Since I wrote that post 2 weeks ago, they have now announced 'selling off' Uk forests to private owners. I can see there being riots over this.

In England we have the same thing it goes a bit like this.

1. collect your tinder and kindling

2. pick up dead and fallen wood, lay it all out in your clearing.

3. light a small manageable fire

4. police turn up because some dog walking coward snitched

I've seen idiots at campsites that couldn't even light a fire with a match and gasoline. It's all in the technique.
