Reginald doesn't really bash women as much as he tends to catagorize them as "females" -- only good for one thing, which to me, is belittling. However, this constant theme HAS caused others here to bash women, i.e. we're all gold-diggers, shallow, superficial, etc. etc. My Gawd, when did we go back to the 1950's?! Fellas, we can make our own money (we can even vote now too!). We contribute to the family coffers, often equally or more than our male counterparts. At least in my family.

When you are divorced at 40 (65%+) with 2-3 kids child support, alimony you will be wishing you partied in your 20's!!!

Also, my husband and I were both 20 when we married and now have 2 children and 1 on the way. We both finished our college ed and he supports us on a teacher's salary. You don't have to have a fortune to support children. Kids need consistency and love, not things.

Interesting. I don't think you're going to have very many successful relationships if you just focus on yourself and your needs. A successful partnership involves attempting to compromise to meet the needs of both people. Also, I think people marry too late in life, spending too much time in their 20s just partying and wasting time.

Someone recently asked me, "Wouldn't you be happier if you just believed that the economy will be fine?" I guess that it's possible. I'll try that today. The dollar is just pretend anyway so let's just pretend a little bit more. We can all live in a pretend world where money is made with key strokes and it can be traded for real things and hard labor. That is a great pretend world if you are the one making the keystrokes.
