  • @EmmaGnillot Im sure you should.

  • i was thinking, you said 'even doing it on yourself isnt plesant, and there could be bruising and damage afterwords.' if you get the object out of their throat, should you still call an ambulance/go to the hospital?

  • the thumb part of the fist against the stomach

  • You begin infant CPR which is different. This video is specifically for a conscious baby who has something lodged in their throat.

  • so if its food, you dont give them something to drink, to help it go down? Im thinking i should go to a class if not, because my son started choking the other day, and i watched him cough, then i was like oh shit.. and handed him his drink, and the food went straight down. And reminded him to chew more. but if it happens again i guess i should prepare myself and know if a drink is good or bad.(research tiiime)

  • I agree what if the child goes unconscious??

  • this video reminds me of my videos!!1 M

  • i took a cpr course jr year of high school there r studies saying n this does come from the american red cross first aid handbook btw it says that its okay 2 give 5 back blows in between the shoulder blades in addition 2 5 abdominal thrust 2 ne1 no matter what the age is if n when theres some1 choking

  • this video is about choking and not CPR. it would be nice if they would add in the information about CPR just in case the child goes unconscious.
