@zorinlynx Want a fair analogy? I came over to your house to visit you. When I was done, I left my car in the driveway and went over to your neighbors house. While I'm at your neighbors house you had another guest arrive, however; my vehicle was in the driveway, so consequently your guest has to park in the street. Since I was "finished" visiting you, wouldn't it make sense that your new guest should have priority for the driveway parking spot?
