Ignore the rat. It's ignoring you.

If you didn't hear what the books name were, it was True Selves, by Mildred Brown and Chloe Rounsley. And Conundrum by Jan Morris.

I don't think I made myself clear on why I didn't like the DVD and I think I came off as a tard, but what I meant is that there are a lot more detailed, real accounts of transsexuals lives on youtube, each person looks and acts differently and has their own personalit and experience, and they are so more real than the people in the DVD, and I blame the way it was set up. The DVD didn't focus on the bad or good aspects of transsexuals, it just...had transsexuals in it and a bunch of statistics. There were a few moments of introspective and interesting dialogue from the transexuals featured but for the most part it was boring and pointless.
Mabe I'm just being biased. (Biased against what?)
And I know I came across the wrong way when I said most transsexuals who pass go into stealth and are never heard from again, youtube is a prime example of that not happening, yah. I'm getting over having the flu and my mind's a bit frazzled. I can't remember which video I talk about the book in and had a link for it.

My cat Emmy reminds you: "There's no such thing as unpassable, just unrealistic expectations. What's on the inside matters more than what's on the outside, and if you explore all avenues and posibilities then your outside will match the inside anyway! You'll only fail if you give up hope. Nyaa Nuu Meow! "
Emmy's been hitting the catnip hard thismorning, as you can see.

Look at your lovely face and figure! Congrats :)

  • But I watched this movie made by Gwen Haworth "She's a Boy I knew" And I really liked the movie and her point of view.

She did, produced, and published the whole movie herself. She points out that there is not enough empowering and real stories. So She did this movie. Tell me if you looked for it. baba

  • Nyallo~~!! I will get this book today! @___@ I will try XD I know that Indigo/chapters sell it... (do you have these stores in Australia?) Anyway, I know! About these kind of dvds about transexuals :O!!! they are always showing over dramatic scenes or rejection, and how transexuals are not liked and the "going stealth" you talked about. Always disempowering T__T
