YESTERDAY TODAY AND TOMORROW

"Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow", the title track of the 3rd Glyder album. It was a beautiful day last June (June 2009) The album was just mixed and I went for a drive out in my back garden with the camcorder. This is where we live the wicklow mountains and this is breath taking scenery that I often take for granted. I often think as I walk in the beauty that our grandparents once knew this scenery so well and now they have passed on but the scenery still remains the same. Its like you only borrow this beauty for your mortal existence and then the next generation inherit it. Thats why we have to try and respect the landscape, the dead and our traditions and pass them on. This is what I wrote this song about. I also mixed in some images and clips from Bluebird studios. The second solo after first chorus was done by Dave Meniketti one of the finest rock guitarists in the world.

In this Dark and lonely room

A souvenir of yesteryear

A family once full of life
