Incidentally, I came across your vid as I am currently learning this song with my band. I can't believe there are no TAB books for the Feelgoods! So, I am having to the song the good old fashioned way - by listening and copying!

@terrysteward Quite agree about the guitars thing. I have a few, myself, including a G&L AST Classic Bluesboy Tele, a couple of Strats and a Gary Moore Sig LP. Incidentally, I also have a JEM7v (is that what you have there?), which I just cannot get on with, and I am trying to sell it so that I can buy a Gibson Firebird.

Hi mike, although over the 38 years of playing,i have built up a fair knowledge of scales chords and some theory, most of everything i play,Is by ear,and tbh, this is actually my version of it,as when i learnt it 20 odd years ago,i hadnt actually heard it,i just went by my singer kinda mimicking the guitar part with his voice,to give me some idea of how it went, and what i should be playing !!!,ive only recently heard the original !!!

I have an idea though, when i get chance,i will knock up a little video of what i am doing, slowed down with commentary, but its mainly triad chords played on the top three strings,Bb F,F G (this first G chord is a Diad on top two strings at third fret, with open G,then Bb F,F G (2nd time around the G is a triad with 2nd finger on 7fr top E,3rd finger 8th fr b string and 1st finger 7th fr G string, ( like playing a D chord at the 7th fret !!

Cheers for that,i did the backing track as well, but was ages ago,so i suppose i could actually improve on that now.

This would sound better on a Strat or a Tele, and with less gain. The pickups on that JEM put out a lot of gain and take away most of the tone from the guitar. Fine for metal, but not so good for blues.
Good playing, all the same.

Yes your quite right, but i dont have either at the mo,or at least a single coil tele,as i do have a 72 deluxe, but that has the chrome humbuckers,i will get a normal tele,as i do quo stuff as well, and i recently saw a guy playing a strat, and that rekindled my interest in those, but i also want a les paul and an sg !!!! lol !!! you cant have enough guitars !!
