This is a clip discussing how the DEA just goes in and takes on the Democratic process, and the citizens of this country just sit by letting it happen.

  • P1 -

great special report. and, there are no defense lawyers who can/have challenge(d) this anti-constitutional reality in court? Perhaps having the Supreme court make an official ruling? Surely there are enough people getting busted for XTC possession for this to happen/have happened. why hasn't this happened? what's up with this? @2:10 - def. of S1 "high potential for abuse + no medical use" does not / cannot apply to alcohol and tobacco, also?? Con't... P2

  • Yes, I think the only thing medicinal about alcohol is its taste. Tobacco has been shown to help schizophrenics to stabilize mood. Technically, anything that grows from the ground should not be able to be outlawed. Everything else should be re-evaluated and scheduled accordingly, in addition to the clause of no research on S1 drugs being eliminated. That has to be the most IGNORANT rule on the books EVER! We have stringent research standards now, so I think we're okay on this.

  • To continue on this point, alcohol presents huge risk for abuse. Here's what it all comes down to... The DEA has not solved the drug "problem" in over 70 years. It's time to re-assign the issue to another agency. This time NOT a law enforcement agency that oversteps their bounds, and no one can stand up to them. Where are the checks and balances here?

  • I watched this on the History channel yesterday evening. It was quite interesting.

  • That's when I saw this as well :-)

  • hemp is marijuana just a diff strain

and it does get u high but farmers are made to grow with low thc... the thc is to protect against sun rays

  • thank you "COMarijuana." i love how you did the frame looping in order to accentuate the huge points of this. unfortunately, "we" have to hit "them" over the head in order to make our point.... it's drug monopoly [Big Pharma] as well as protecting old product monopolies, such as "paper [sorry choir, that's right, noob;^)]." the DEA et al, are only getting away with shit because there's no blood on the streets. yet. say what you want, but "we" are allowing "them" to fuck us. "wake up and live."

  • Cannabis=hemp="marijuana." there are just different strains of cannabis that will yield different uses. if you do your research, you will also see that "marijuana" is a made up word to start a whole fear mongering campaign, one that's lasted sixty years [and hasn't changed, really]!

  • the history of cannabis is amazing... but the history of HEMP and all its industrial agricultural uses is astounding!!! its the most useful cash crop and its illegal its not even a narcotic it just LOOKs like cannabis, lets make the maple tree illegal.. and every other tree/plant that has a cannabis look alike leaf... HEMP will make us rich...

  • Now THAT was powerful Angela. Loved it!

    DON'T TREAD ON ME!!

    Love from Texas

  • Hey, great vid. Thanks for sharing this! I watch History Channel periodically but missed this one.

By the way, your "ending credits" missed one -- California, AB390 authored by Assemblyman Tom Ammiano, which will completely legalize marijuana in California. (Yes, recreational use.) I will send you a link to some information about it in a private message; YouTube comments won't let me put it in here.

  • wow wtf i hate our government

  • I didn't know marijuana had a "high (heh, high) potential for abuse, or no medical use"... Shouldn't this be over turned since entire states have decriminalized it, and some put their chips into medical research? Once the first state signed up ganja should have been pulled off that list. But it doesn't matter if there are millions of open minded, research driven, intellectual people backing a cause... It crumbles before us... I am honestly losing hope, but will not stop fighting. Until I move.
