  • @alz123alz The Schwaan cells are not attached to the nucleus of a neuron. The nucleus is found in the cell body which, as mentioned is never seen in the cross section of a peripheral nerve. Schwaan cells are attached to axons (in the peripheral nervous system, hence seen in peripheral nerves) and the white stuff you see around the "dark" axon is a cross section of the Schwaan cell.
