Hellooooooooo traveler! Its been a long time since I put up Mega Man 1-6 + X for LP's, but we're back with an INTERACTIVE installment of MMX4.

This vid contains our introduction to the game, and our first two stages... Split Mushroom and Magma Dragoon. After that though, its up to YOU where I go! So you get to influence the LP.... making it actually a "Let's" play, not a Me-Play-You-Watch.

Sounds pretty %^&ing novel to me lol

This game came out sometime late 90's I believe, on the PSX. Its the first game that allows you to FULLY play as Zero (he had bits in another game I think) and it doesn't disappoint. This is easily one of the best X-series games, and therefore one of the best Mega Man games overall.

I will be picking up every item/secret in the game as well... so fear not, nothing will be missed. That means all the heart containers, E-tanks, etc. If there is some SUPER super secret something that I don't know about, however unlikely, lemme know and I'll go grab it later.

  • Just curious Xerxes, what's your normal order for going through these bosses and levels?

  • @Avianitis Honestly, outside of Dragoon to Walrus, the other 6 I don't really have a major pattern. I usually do Sabretooth, Peacock, and Owl as 6/7/8 in some form but not always the same... I suppose I most often do Spider 3rd and Mushroom 4th.... I hate Stingrays stage so I try and do him late as well...

But really, Dragoon and Mushroom are the 2 hardest and give the 2 best abilities, and gameplay style doesn't change much after they're gone either.

  • Lawful Good Xerxes? Lol, didn't know you were into the D&D thing. Plus, Lawful Good = Lawful Anal.

  • @Musicon14 I love DnD dude. Thats where Jazelle came from.

Chaotic Good, Lawful Neutral, and Neutral Good are what I like to be most. Gotta run that Paladin!

  • sigma may have been defeated.

    but the 0bama-virus lives on

turning robots into braindead 0bamabots that spread marxism

    one day at a time

    ....

  • Iris sounds pretty hot

  • I know this is kinda late ( considering you've already done the LP lol ) but if you want Zero's Black Armour this is what you do at the character select screen .

    -Highlight Zero and hold R1

-Press Right on the D-Pad 6 times

    -Release R1

-Keep holding Circle until you can actually control Zero in the Sky Lagoon ( you can still press X to skip cutscenes )

Hope you find this interesting / useful.

  • Dragoon totally used Draco Meteor :)

  • @michkid251 Nintendo never made a Mega Man game...Capcom owns Mega Man. (And is presently doing horrible things to it.) I believe Nintendo may have published Mega Man 6, but it's still a Capcom game.

Zero does have his own spin-off series...four games on the Game Boy Advance, and they're all moderately to extremely difficult. (Which means Xerxes probably would never LP 'em...I'm calling him out!)

-Kooper, still hoping Capcom and Nintendo get it together to put Mega Man in the next Smash Bros.

  • @WhiteyMcFly1 HOLD IT!

Not only that, but Zero can be switched in, once per level, after the intro stage of X3. He's a useful extra health bar, but has exactly one life + no continues and if he dies once, he's gone forever.

Worth noting that he cannot go through the many shutter gates (e.g. to Boss rooms) that are scattered throughout X3 seemingly to prevent Zero from playing the whole stage...bar that one special one in the fortress that allows you to get the Saber with X.

  • "I assume I'll stick it in there."

    "That's what she said."

    ...Strap on?

    Er...

Just to fulfill the prophecy, Mavericks are called Irregulars in Japan, and likewise with those who hunt them.

Interesting side note: In Mega Man Legends, Mega Man is called a Purifier Unit in America, but in Japan his classification is an Irregular Hunter (or thereabouts). Links between series = good stuff.

Also: 22:19 was Draco Meteor. Probably STAB.

S.M. Button = Special Move Button.

    -Kooper, late to the party.

  • @Imagdreon he proboly plays with emulator, since X-4 was a playstation game

  • i have this game, but i was never good at it.. XD
