First episode of BrassTacks new Ramazan series on the Golden age of Islam.
The Golden Age was a period of unrivaled intellectual activity in all fields: science, technology, and (as a result of intensive study of the Islamic faith) literature - particularly biography, history, and linguistics, During the Golden Age Muslim scholars also made important and original contributions to mathematics, astronomy, medicine, and chemistry

  • very interesting!

  • soooo true! my father said the same thing to me recently that he had studied all religous, Islamic history as well as Muslim scientists at school but nowadays we will not get to study it at any conventional school. We know about WW1, europe renaissance but nothing about Ottoman Empire.

Brasstacks is aimed to educate the young Muslim generation. A great task initiated by Zaid Hamid.

  • the problem with today muslims is that we have never studied , not even in our schools , about the great muslims. we have strived hard to learn the tools of other acedemics but we never understood or read ahadith. we have read thousand of books but never understood quran. we find the best school of our children but never a good alim for our children.

we read shakespere and other historical people but we never taught about such great leaders. wake up muslims wake up. jazak Allah zaid sb

  • Mashallah. We love Mr. Zaid Hamid. May Allah bless you help you in everything you do. Aameen.

  • I am the third one here

    mashallah
