three blade wind turbine made with dyno hub fifth attempt and best so far puts out 13 volts blades were made from single sheet of aluminium. pvc type all snapped because they flexed and hit frame used old kids scooter for turnning into the wind the blades were moving that fast the camera shows haldly any movement notice nill noise . joshs dad

The frame rate for the camera and the rpm on the turbine are similar enough at times that the windmill appears to stand still...or reverse even. So, sarmila85, it may in fact be good enough...

Think it needs more elevation. You've got a lot of turbulence from the roof. If you go up even five more feet, it would steady out a lot.

I ment that the pivot was from a micro scooter the dyno hub was from an old bike they are called strumney archer dyno hubs and are great 12volt generators pig to mount but worth the effort. Chudmail check out my channel

Hello all i now have my own account and i am selling blade sets on ebay they are called SPINSPEED 600 you can look them up on here just type in SPINSPEED 600 they sell for around £50 and are brilliant!

you can get a good 22 volts from these in high winds. Use a voltage doubler if you can1t get over 12 volts ,but it will drop the charging current a little but still it does charge!! :-) these are great things the dynohubs last forever lol
