Athene - Nov 1 - Mandana Daneshnia an Iranian refugee, was subject to an unprecedented attack by a motorcyclist in the city of Athene, capital of Greece, said an eyewitness.
We can not confirm whether this incident is linked to the recent wave of terrorist activity by right-wing groups in Greece or perhaps another sinister plot by Iranian regime mercenaries to create fear among Iranian refugees.
Officials in Greece were not available for comment .
This comes after a damming report published in October, by Human Right Watch group, criticising Greek authority for ill treatment of Iranian refugees on hunger strike.
Recently twenty-five Iranian refugees have gone on hunger strike in Greece demanding that Greek authorities process their asylum applications. Some have had their mouths sewn shut.
Mandan Daneshnia was among Iranian refugees demanding a fair treatment from Greek
authority.
Prince Reza Pahlavi shared his deep concern with Greek Prime Minister Yeoryios Papandreou in a letter, highlighting the devastating circumstances of the young Iranian dissident refugees in Greece.
