just put him or her on the floor in the house then go away and cal her or him with the name example poly come on poly and then if it is trained well do it like 20 times it will fly to you then go out side and try it there

How did you start them out flying outside? My cockatiel sits on my shoulder when I go outside but he gets scared of everything.

The bird just has to be smart. Like mine. My bird flew away three times( the third time was today) And my bird flew three blocks. But he came back! He's so smart!
