On this episode of "The Senate Doctors Show" Sen. Tom Coburn, M.D., and Sen. John Barrasso, M.D., talk about Sen. Max Baucus' health care reform plan (and its taxes), insurance competition to give consumers more choices, and how Republican reform plans would help those with pre-existing conditions.
Gents, I purchased an individual HSA PPO with a 3/k deductible when I was making 110k. Thanks to economy I now make 25k/yr and cannot afford the $660/month payments. At age 51 I now have a pre-existing condition so can't get other insurance but need medical care for polyendocrine autoimmune disease. Need lower cost insurance but no one wants to cover me now. What would you suggest? I go broke keeping insurance I cant afford or go without insurance?

We desperately need tort reform! These physicains/senators understand much more about the health care system than many of the representatives up there in Washington. We don't need some board telling us what meds we can take, what test we can have, and how long to wait for our medical treatment.

these guys are 2 genteel elitists fighting against a street agitator, aka, barry soetoro. they will sit by with gentility as the street agitator and his gang of socialists rams through some monstrous that will destroy American health care and include back-breaking "non-taxes" to destroy American bank accounts.
But these 2 feel good with their passive play here, as they remain CIVIL like good drones do. But they are largely HIDING IN THE WOODWORK.
bring on obamacare & thanks NOT docs!

I mostly like Cobutn, but this cherrypick idea sounds like communism. This whole issue only comes up becauser we have laws to save people from the consequences of their choices.
