@JesseBAndersen Just wait for it, it's called patience, don't waste your money on an apple product that will be obsolete in 2 months

@Charbax it looks *nothing* like e-ink.
Unless there's something I'm missing, I would *never* mistake that display for paper. White pigments' light diffussion is completely different to this.
Of course, I'd welcome a side-to-side test. That would be interesting.
And some real-world battery numbers, not theoretical.

@Charbax I admit the tablet looked nice under sunlight, except for the rather overwhelming reflection, which is due to the touch sensors.
Perhaps it looks good with the anti-reflective screen she mentioned. And without touch sensors. I still have my doubts though, after confusing e-ink with actual paper once.

I hope Adam will have the wide view capacitative screen!

When?
eh.. nice going with the numbers.
Cute how the backlight got totally ignored in those calculations >_<

@MadsterV What do you mean? Pixel Qi works without the need for a backlight.

@Charbax at 0:18 she turns it off and it becomes completely unreadable.
Yes, it's probably better under sunlight... but not so much as to not need it at all.
It's still an LCD, only it doesn't become a mirror under sunlight.
This, like the mirasol-esque GBA screen, benefit greatly from having sunlight AND a good backlight.

@MadsterV It gets as dark as if you put paper in the same angle at the same kind of dark place in the room as this video was filmed. When you read on paper, you tend to not go read in the dark corners of rooms, same thing here, just go in to the light. It's much better for reading anyways when light is reflected.

@MadsterV Also, there is the effect of the camera shutter speed not adapting fast enough to the new mode, and the angle at which I filmed that part. The screen is perfectly readable to the eye at that place in the room anyways, just like paper, just like e-ink.
