This is an animation of a site plan developed for a fictitious Eastern Michigan University satellite campus in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The campus is to house, among other university programs, the new (fictitious) Tyler Ward College of Architecture, Urban Planning and Design, or TWCAUP for short.

I am not formally trained in architectural design, though I have made an attempt to articulate my vision for what type of architecture would fit the programmatic and academic needs of the site. The designs are based on a study of the historic typology of EMU core campus architecture. They are also heavily influenced by specific works of the architect and urban designer, Rob Krier.

This particular sequence begins at the Geddes Road gate, and continues along one of the main axes of the campus.

Complete renders of the campus can be found at: www.andrewarmbruster.com/geddesroadalbum1.html

General information about the design principles can be found at:

If you like this animation please let me know by rating it. Im looking forward to any and all comments, thanks!
