  • @ cruchfield, I have the eclipse avn5510 model. Does eclipse or any other company make an iPod adapter for my stereo?

  • @leoboxn Please accept my apologies for the delayed response. Eclipse offered an iPod adapter for your unit when they were still making aftermarket equipment. The part number was: iPC-106 but like the complete line of Eclipse products, it was discontinued. I'm sorry I don't have better news for you there. If you are able to find one, keep in mind; this older adapter may not be compatible with the newest generations of iPod/iPhones. HTH!--Crutchfield

  • What Cars Will It Fit In ?

  • @bryanrohnaldo

If you have one and want to put it into a car, call us and we can tell you if it'll fit and what it'll take to get it in there.

If you don't have one, you may be out of luck since Eclipse stopped making aftermarket car stereo equipment.

Hope that helps, here's our number:

  • This system won't seem to play the MP3CDs I make. Do you know what can possibly be happening?

  • @DonnyLB

If you bought your Eclipse from Crutchfield, you can call Tech Support at the number on your Crutchfield invoice. I’m certain they can help you get your CDs playing. One of the reasons to buy from Crutchfield.

If you bought it elsewhere, you can purchase our Tech Support. Call us for more details

    I hope that helps,

  • Why is this unit no longer available?

  • I've heard one of the problems you have with the navigation is updating the maps.

  • This might work. Does your mic have the same 3.5mm connector? If so, you'll probably get it to work. Keep in mind, Eclipse designed their mic for their stereo, so there might also be something in the design that makes it superior to your existing mic for the AVN-726.

One last thing, Eclipse has left the aftermarket car stereo business, and we have sold out of most of our remaining Eclipse items. The AVN-726 was one of the first to run out, sorry.
