Raccoon visitors

4am, my husband and I were awakened by the sound of one of our cat's toys rattling constantly. This did not sound normal, so we got up to see what the noise was. It was a baby raccoon playing with the cat ball, shaking it in it's mouth. The mother and two of it's siblings were also in the house. I had forgot to close the cat door before going to bed, and they just came in and helped themselves to the full dishes of cat food in my kitchen. The mother went out the door just before I started filming. She waited outside on the deck for her babies to come out. We guided them out gently with the broom. Hate to see what the house would have looked like if they didn't wake us up! so cute!
