"A co-worker and clanmate asked me, if there exists a similar video, or documentation about the capture speed (point or cart), cause he heard a myth of the point is not going capped faster if more than 4 players standing on it. I didnt know if this myth is true, but I also dont know about general capturing speed/time. So if youre interested in, it would be very nice to make a video similar to your charge speed video."

Well I guess the answer is yes the max speed of the cart is +80% with 4 players pushing it. However, interestingly enough this is not the case with capture points.

On the video, the recorded speed for an 8-person cap is +165%. That's 15% more than a 6-person cap. I also tested a 12-person cap, with a capture speed of +205%.

And the speed of a 24-person cap is almost instant! So its safe to say that there is no limit with capture points. Instead of being a straight line, the speed arcs up and slowly tapers off. So I hope that answers your question :)

You missed 3, like others said.

In SDK Hammer there are only 3 speeds for the cart which means the optimal speed is actually 3 people, not 4.

This is wrong. The cart reaches its full speed when 3 players are pushing it. Valve confirmed it, its on tf2 wiki
