Sparing Helios life was the intent here, it does seem tho that the next area doesn't load unless you tear that head off.
Points of Interest:
1. You can leave the Helios battle arena at any stage via the method shown in the vid, the next area doesn't load tho. I guess you could partially use this as a strange battle exploit at some stages.
2. The Helios head that you start the game off with (The NG+ Helios head) for some reason will
remove the texture that covers the door when used from inside the cave before ripping Helios' head off. (But as normal, cant be used from the outside.)
3. If you remove the texture BEFORE tearing Helios' head off, the texture returns after the head removing incident. At this stage you can R1 the door despite the texure still being there.
4. The missing texture with the unloaded "cave area" is visible during the Helios head removal process.
Note: At the start of the vid I had already R1'ed the door before running through it. I left that bit out for "effect".
