I heard an interview with the writers from Peep Show, who also worked a bit on the M&W Look, and they said this sketch is an inside joke about Robert Webb and his wife, who has got some sort of human rights related job. So, bloke who accused M&W of snobbery, you got it all wrong.

I actually found this sketch rather touching. Even though it's a comedy, the message still holds true: just because your job might not sound as impressive or be as demanding as another job, it doesn't mean your work is worthless.

I wasn't overly courteous with the first guy admittedly though of course I'm not gonna suffer the other idiot's insolence. The first guy didn't explain well despite his constant attempts, hence giving him an easy term to describe it. That and he said it wasn't possessive, which it still is, it just doesn't need the apostrophe to denote it, as I learned and thanked him for.

The second guy to reply, along with you, just want to prolong this for some obscure reason.

Check what "gracious" means too.
