Nice! just went through the tutorial and it's doing good! what kind of system are you using??? Mine went insane amounts slower than yours!

@djdwarfy i got this method off ANOTHER tutorial, go to edit mode, click mesh on the bottom next to the frame timeline, click faces and then click "shade smooth", which will smooth the "squary" stuff. i know how bad it looks when its all "squary", so this is rlly useful for me.

so what version do you have? mine's different
mmnissanzroadster9 1 week ago
@mmnissanzroadster9 That's good, as this is a 3 year old version of Blender. I would hope that you have a newer version. Search my channel for the blender 2.56 fluid tutorial -- it should be more up to date.

Thanks! But, one question- is it simply a matter of my laptop having poor processing speeds that when I go to render this animation it goes really slowly and lags? Or am I missing something?

@TheDarkWolf94 Nope, you are good. Your laptop is the source of your really slow render times, not your fault.

hi! Thanks a lot! it really helped me. sorry i am just a noob at blender but... how do i do if i want to save it as a video file ? :oo

@Gabpop1 Under the render options, there should be a filetype dropdown, just select AVI or some other video file. It takes a bit of hunting to find it, but once you do -- it is really simple.
