I'm a bit confused about how the helicoil grabs the threading of the product being repaired. Wouldn't you think that removing a bolt from the repaired product also result in the helicoil unscrewing from the product as well?
I had a problems using a 360 turn on my last job repair a stripped hole for a car seat rail mount - I couldn't do it. I had to use a vise-grip to slowly turn the tap bit into the hole because there was enough room to work with.
Don't they make a driver that can be connected to a tappingg bit that can be attached to a ratchett so it can be used in tight areas?
Very usefull information and very easy instructional video. So much better than others I have seen.
