Hi Tom, hope all is well with you and classes are managable! I had to watch your Ride to Class again...love it! What you been up to? Saw your comment on "descending bass lines, and saw my favorite group mentioned, Moody Blues; likes the other groups as well!
Take care, Bob

This makes me wish I could still ride a bike.

The campus was what made me choose OU. It's a great one and I love it here :)

Hey Tom, what campus are you riding on? My gosh from this view I can't believe you don't more run ins with other bikes or people! I enjoyed the ride! What class were you off to? Bob

Thanks! I was off to serigraphy I believe - and I don't ride this haphazardly every day - some of the wildness is due to my disconnected front break to make room for the camera. :)
I actually haven't really ever had any run-ins!

Loved the music, and that ride path was really nostalgic...I followed that same path so many times, at least the part up to the south oval...Never spent much time on the north oval, that's only for the crazy art kids! haha just kidding. I'll never forget how annoying it could be trying to traverse the herds of walking people though, especially the ones who didn't even look before walking across the bike lane!

Thanks, I usually avoid the bike lane in the south oval do to the heavy traffic, but I thought more people (more obstacles) would make for a more interesting video.

Great new music, an original I guess.

Thanks! I've always loved those cyclical descending basslines in classical music. I worked out a nice fingerpicking bassline in C, came up with some relatively nonsensical lyrics, worked out a stereo mix of all the tracks, and I think it came out pretty well.
Some of the best descending basslines I can think of in 60's pop:
Moody Blues - Go Now
Crosby, Stills, and Nash - Our House
The Kinks - Sunny Afternoon
Procol Harum - Whiter Shade of Pale
The Kinks - Lincoln County
