@BigSmiley1986 He never left after his owner died. He sat there until his last day or they took him away when ever then he escaped and went back.

I watched this movie couple times. It is a very good movie and I cried every time I watched it. I have a 17 years old dog and my other dog passed away 3 years ago when he was 14 years old. The movie reminded me about them. I totally understand the bond between dogs and their owner. There are many dogs and animals need our help. Crying and getting sad is not doing much for them. Please help the animals by donations or be a volunteer.

For those ignorant people. The Hachiko story is REAL ! I come from Japan and this is a valid one and there is a statue of Hachiko at the front of the Tokyo Shibuya Station honoring the loyalty of this dog who's master did not come back one day at the station as he had passed away, but Hachiko kep going to the station every day at the same time to greet his master.
