I don't believe in tipping either. You do your job and if you go above and beyond, you just might deserve a tip. A tip is just that, a reward for outstanding service, you're not entitled to it because of your position.

The problem is that these people apply in droves are willingly accepting a wage far below minimum and thus devalue these positions. Then they turn the table around on the customers acting entitled. FUCK YOU!

Mr. Pink's point is that a tip should be a reward for outstanding service, which he will gladly cough up if he feels the waiter/waitress deserves it. Saying that one should let their server know beforehand doesn't make sense because the person shouldn't even know beforehand whether they'll be tipping or not - it should be based off service quality, not entitlement. If you put 110% into each of your tables, you will receive a tip and rightly so.

I 100% agree with Mr. Pink (even before I watched this video). All his points are valid. I am paying full price for a service. That's all I pay anywhere else, so a restaurant shouldn't be any different. The employers need to stop leaving it up to customers to pay the employees for what THEY should be paying them for. I work at a minimum wage jobs, and I directly serve the public, giving customized attention to each individual, with no tip because I'm not a 'waiter'. That's BS!

Waitresses get paid so little because if an employee is expected to get tips the employer can legally pay them less than minimum wage. You know who should be paying for you to work your employer you know the guy who you work for. What needs to change is the laws around tipping they are ridiculous.

Where are they handing out all these new jobs?? Tip, don't tip. Just tell me before hand, we will see how self righteous you think this behavior is then. I mean if your not ashamed or concerned go ahead, let your server know prior to your dining experience that you will not be tipping.

Waitresses make 2$ not minimum wage. Then they are taxed on your bill EVEN if you don't tip. Go to McD's. I can't believe ppl are still not tipping.
