Raising Healthy Bilingual (ASL/English) Children (subtitled)

This is a fun vlog showing children (ages 6 - 12) using ASL in a fast pace that they transmit information in a natural way without having to repeat or slow down. This is the way it is supposed to be for ASL users where they can completely understand, express their thoughts and engage in a dialogue without having to struggle. This is so great! It's obvious that as long as a child has a natural language from birth, they are capable of being healthy and smart people! I love that you can't tell who's hearing and who is Deaf. Thank you for sharing this great video! Are any of the children related? Are the hearing child's parents Deaf or did they just want to immerse their child in another language and so, another culture? Great video!

I LOVE that! I want my kids to be bilingual, in any language really. I speak English and Spanish and love all things language acquisition and kids who grow up fully bilingual. It's just so great. Thanks too for transcribing the video but us super interested but "non-signing"....well yet anyway. :)
