Ou can see how emotional this song is for Steven and his dad Victor, which is partly because this was soon after Steven's mother ( victor's wife ) passed away. Steven mentions how important his family is to him in his autobiography - you can tell he's trying to help his dad through the hardship and take meaning from the song. This performance may not be perfect in other peoples opinions but it doesn't matter- its from the heart- and that is what's important.
