As for socialism: Winsoton Churchill was a Socialist. These staunch allies of the US have political systems which include: Monarchy, democratically-elected parliament, and socialist economics:

Britain, Denmark, Norway, Sweden.

Do you think that those who can do not try to accumulate wealth and power under socialism? The difference is that capitalism affords the opportunity to many more.

By nature, actors are shallow and self-centered. That's not a problem. The problem is when others take their social criticisms seriously, as when idiot congressmen invite Angelina Jolie to testify.
