The MAIN reason that Texas fought was to KEEP THEIR SLAVES! the Mexicans banned the owning of slaves and they would allow slaves to escape. Since farmaing was how the texans earned their living they fought to keep their property/slaves. So I spit on the Alimo every time I visit... Fuck Texas...
