BR Class 2MT steam locomotive 78019 on loan from the Great Central Railway tentatively departs Wirksworth Station on a beautifully warm and sunny day in March 2011, embarking on the first trial steaming after arrival. The locomotive is at the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway for 8 weeks.

  • great, nice to see it got there safely, bet its nice for the railway and engine crew having a big engine to play with ay, i'll be shore to see it soon when the line is open to Duffield, are you a volenteer?
