i will aslways be a teddy and jo fan until the day i die.

I wish Jo and Laurie were together... they were so perfect... I hate when childhood friends fall in love and lose it all... I mean Teddy probably still has feelings for Jo although Alcott made it seem like it was all over and they were just best friends... he still loved her.

I think in his heart Teddy would have always loved Jo. He belonged to her and she belonged to him. From the moment that Jo and Laurie met, they were soulmates, and I don't think their friendship would have ended if they'd gotten married.
sigh. every time I read a book my heart devotes itself to a romance that never happens... :(

I love those two. Haven't read the book, so really don't understand why they didn't end up together. :(

I think many of us girls have had a boy like this in our lives. It's one of those relationships that we wished would have evolved into romance, but it just couldn't. A rose that never bloomed. It's the bitter sweetness of life, my friends.

Btw...even though im totally for Jo marrying Mr. Bhaer...I love this video! I the watch video twice or more a week!!!! :-D

@fairywannabe- Case in point, when Amy burned Jo's manuscript, she vowed never to speak another word to her own dear sis again. Since Jo felt that "passionate about writing" I dont think Teddy would ever or did ever understand that. I would hate to see Jo get married to Laurie only to find a strong longing towards Mr. Bhaer. :-D

@fairywannabe If someone has a passion for something , like Jo did, it would help if your significant other had the passion as well. Its the very thing that bonds u 2 togther. Teddy depised the very thing that Jo held most dear to her in her heart..."the art of writing".
well Maybe Jo didnt know what she wanted at the time. She figured it out later that it wasn't Laurie. Lets all be honest Mr. Bhaer was perfect for Jo...they both shared enjoyment for the same books( and memerized the same favorite parts in those books). Laurie stated " I dont want them (books) now...I will not be taking all of dickens to harvard (with me)." Sorry but, Mr. Bhaer took along of his beloved books with him. Mr. Bhaer loved books as much as Jo. That was their passion.

@allisonL03 so basically you're saying that just because two people have a love of books, that makes them perfect for each other...? that is very flawed logic.
