I spent a summer working at a S.U.N.Y. College Library.While orginizing the books I came a accross a very thick book, the size of the old testament, it was entitled "Blacks Who Owned Slaves" it was registry of blacks who owned slaves, going state by state accross the south. I was schocked. Most were small amounts, but some had thirty or more. How come this was not discussed in our high school or college history history?
